Grilled sweet potatoes with olive oil and lime marinade

Ingredients

1 garlic clove
1 onion
1 red chilli pepper
2-3 limes
6 EL olive oil
3 EL mixed herbs
SALDORO ancient salt
Pepper
1 Prise sugar
1 kg sweet potatoes

Instructions

Peel the garlic and onion for the marinade and then crush the garlic.
Halve the chilli peppers lengthwise, remove the seeds, wash the pod and dice into small cubes with the onion.
Wash limes thoroughly, pat dry, grate the peel from 1/2 lime and squeeze out the limes.
Mix 4 tablespoons of oil with limes zest, juice, herbs, garlic and chilli pepper and season with SALDORO ancient salt, pepper and sugar.
Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly, peel as desired and slice.
Mix the sweet potatoes with the remaining oil, season with salt and cook over mild grill for 6-10 minutes on each side.
While still warm, mix the sweet potatoes with a portion of the marinade and drizzle with the remaining marinade. Then sprinkle with SALDORO ancient salt and serve.
